5 months agoI'm new here too. They found mine after giving me a massive surgery for misdiagnosed ovarian cancer. If they'd caught it when they did the inconclusive biopsy in June of 24 not only wouldn't I have had The Mother of All Surgeries but it would have been caught in very treatable stage 2. They told me just hours free the surgery to remove all my organs that I had lymphoma, not even specific enough to say NHL.....and they let me hang in the wind. Gave me a business card for a medical oncologist who I didn't have an ointment with until October and by deb. 2205!she said I was in stage IV. I've still had no treatment. Is this normal?

Treatment timelines can vary significantly between different lymphoma cases, and waiting periods aren't uncommon while doctors determine the best approach for each person's specific situation. The experience shared here highlights how important it is to advocate for timely care and clear communication with the medical team about next steps and treatment plans.

5 months agoYikes, that sounds awful. Not surprised however, especially in the wait for treatment. Be an advocate and keep searching available oncologists. This is treatable in most cases. Stay determined.

4 months agoI have lymphoma stage 4. And far as I've been told lymphoma don't go past stage 4 I'd definitely find a new doctor

3 months agoI found out I had Cancer Jan 2025. Came as a shock as I've never been seriously ill or in the hospital. Had a biopsy. We met with my oncologist. He told us it was stage 4 non-Hodgkin's Large B cell lymphoma. He said, since it's so advanced, there is no cure. However, it is very treatable. I had six rounds of chemo, 21 days apart. My last one was at the end of May. I'm in remission now, thank God. Hang in there. Be positive. Sorry you've had to go through so much hardship. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I had my treatments at St Jude Heritage Crosson Cancer Center, Fullerton, CA. The Doctors, nurses & staff were fantastic. BTW, I turned 78 in July. Best birthday present ever 😄
