12 days agoThis is such an important decision point in your treatment journey, and it's completely understandable to want input from others who may have faced similar choices. Many community members have navigated radiation options and can share their experiences with both proton and photon therapies, including factors they considered when making their decision. Connecting with others here who understand biliary tract cancer treatment can provide valuable perspectives as you work with your medical team to determine the best path forward.

7 days agoMy wife was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma in July. She navigated Chemoradiopothy treatment. Essentially, she took Capacetibine (chemo) twice a day and Radiation every day for 30 treatments! Brutal. After 6 weeks post treatment she is gaining back some strength. She had some shrinkage of her tumor and awaits for an MRI and then a pet scan to determine next steps. Biliary cancer is difficult to treat and very hard to navigate!
