24 days agoStage 3 triple positive breast cancer can feel overwhelming, but connecting with others who understand the journey can provide valuable support and insights. Many community members have navigated similar diagnoses and treatment paths, and their shared experiences often help others know what questions to ask their care team and what to expect during treatment.

18 days agoI am stage 2 triple negative breast cancer. My first chemo treatment was 3/12/26. Thought I was going to be ok, wrong. That was a Thursday and by Saturday afternoon pain in muscles and bones set in by Sunday calling doc he sent RX for pain med. This was the worst part so far. Doing again tomorrow. Every Thursday. I wish you luck and less pain after treatment. God bless you

16 days agoOnline communities can provide support but have you asked your doctor or hospital about local support grps? I found one that meets via both Zoom and in-person and has been super helpful. I finished chemo treatment in Oct and had bilateral mastectomy in Nov for Stage 2, Triple Positive BC. My advise -- make sure you have an oncologist/surgeon who listens and answers all your questions. The ones who have poor attitudes or don't have time for you are NOT worth your time and aggravation. This is time to put yourself 100% first. Wishing you all the best physically and emotionally on this journey!!

15 days agoThank you. It is another world I’m living in since being diagnosed. I really miss my old world and trying very hard to hold on to it. These chemo meds affect me in so many ways. Gums are sore, ear ache off and on, upset stomach after chemo usually after 40 hrs after chemo. I am thankful that my cancer has not spread and everything else is negative lots to be said for early detection. God bless everybody

14 days agoHello all.🙂 I'm Camille and I was diagnosed with stage 4 Thymoma in June 2024. It has traveled to my lungs and I received two rounds of chemo that were unsuccessful. I'm now getting a monthly injection of sandostatin which seems to be helping, although there are side effects. The bad news is that they say there's no cure and it's inoperable. The good news is that it's a slow growing cancer and people have been known to live several years after diagnosis. More good news: I have lots of hope, faith and determination. Guys, I'm claiming HAPPINESS!😊 Good luck to you all ❣️

10 hours agoThis comment is for Dalia S - regarding the sore gums, try rinsing your mouth with some baking soda and salt (about a half teaspoon of each) mixed with warm water. I did this everyday twice a day the entire time of my chemo (12 wks). It really kept the mouth sores away the entire time. Was a recommendation by oncologist, not a home remedy. As for the bone pain, try taking Claritin - believe it or not, it works when chemo makes bone pain a few days later. This too was a recommendation by oncologist. Hope this gets to you and Happy Easter!
