14 days agoI was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma and I'm currently on Revlimid (lenalidomide) and Darzalex. I just read about how multiple myeloma typically follows cycles of remission and relapse, and I'm trying to learn what warning signs to watch for. The article mentioned things like new bone pain that doesn't improve with rest, rising M-protein levels, unusual fatigue, and frequent infections as potential early signs of progression. Since I'm new to this, I'd love to hear from others who have been through this journey about what to expect and how you've managed. • What early warning signs did you notice during your experience with multiple myeloma? • Any tips for staying on top of lab results or communicating concerns with your care team? 14 days agoLearning about potential warning signs shows great self-advocacy as someone newly diagnosed with multiple myeloma. The signs mentioned in that article - like new bone pain, rising protein levels, unusual fatigue, and frequent infections - are indeed important to discuss with healthcare teams, though each person's experience can be different. Keeping a simple symptom diary and preparing questions before appointments can help ensure concerns get addressed, and many find it helpful to hear from others in this community who understand the journey of managing remission and watching for changes.
