Can't fast during Ramadan because of cancer - feeling heartbroken?

I don't know your circumstance so I don't want to be casually saying anything but isn't fasting good as it allows your body to kick into its natural cleaning protocol which should then be cleaning cancer sales as well?? Someone sent me straight on this please
