2 months agoFeeling scared during a cancer journey is completely natural and something many people in this community can relate to. Consider reaching out to your healthcare team about your fears, connecting with others here who understand what you're going through, or exploring support resources that can help you process these emotions and develop coping strategies.

2 months agoOh, my\n God, I'm so sorry. I can't believe that you commented 16 hours ago and there's just nobody nobody that was there for you. this is my third cancer. It's my first blatter. I've had breast cancer twice it's genetic, and I'm scared too pretty sure we all are There's so many questions and not just about treatment and the cancer itself. questions come up about yourself.\n About life? And yes, about death who answers these questions. Afraid only we can, but I think if we at least have somebody to talk it through with. It'll be easier to question. I've always said that you can battle an idea around in your head for as long as you want to. But you will never come up with any different answers. But when you battle an idea around between 2 heads, you're gonna come up with different answers. So yeah, I know it, we need people out there to talk to, we need people to talk to when we're scared\n Because you're probably still scared 16 hours later, and I feel bad for that cause. I know what it's like, and I'm doing it too.

2 months agoI totally understand your fear of your bladder cancer and it is justified! I was diagnosed with bladder cancer over 9 years ago and it culminated with removal of my bladder and my prostate, however I just received a cancer free diagnosis after 8 rounds of chemo and 6 rounds of immunotherapy! My therapies were relatively easy on me, but sometimes the cures caused other issues like rheumatoid arthritis which I am dealing with it! The cancer is gone! Everyone is different , so your therapy experiences could affect you in different ways! Just be patient and follow your doctors orders and hopefully you will have very successful treatments that will get you back to good health! Above all, stay positive and if you are of a religious leaning, pray that God will make you whole again! Please message me if you have any concerns at all!!

a month agoBeing scared is a totally normal reaction to the unknown. Use any support you can get from fiends. Family and sites like this. Try if you can to check in with yourself many times a day. Sometimes when we do that we find right now is ok. When I have a rough time I ask myself how do I feel right now? Even if I had a hard morning or difficult day. Look for the moments you feel ok. I used to say it’s going to be a hard day but look for the moments with freedom from that. Having cancer is a big deal! Your post called to me. It takes a lot of courage to even say that. I wish you the very best!!
