a month agoI have bladder cancer and am currently on BCG treatment. I just read about a new combination therapy called Padcev (enfortumab vedotin) plus Keytruda (pembrolizumab) that showed significant survival benefits for muscle-invasive bladder cancer patients. The treatment is given both before and after surgery and doesn't require platinum-based chemotherapy. While this might not apply to my current situation, it seems like an important advancement that could be relevant if treatment plans change in the future. I'd love to connect with others who have experience with muscle-invasive bladder cancer or these newer treatments. • Have any of you been treated with Padcev and Keytruda, and what was your experience like? • For those with muscle-invasive bladder cancer, what questions did you ask your care team about treatment options? This research could indeed be valuable knowledge for the future, and asking about treatment experiences and questions to discuss with care teams are great ways to stay informed. The bladder cancer community here has members with various treatment experiences who may be able to share insights about these newer therapies or similar treatment journeys. Connecting with others who understand the complexities of bladder cancer treatment decisions can provide helpful perspectives as treatments continue to evolve.
