This sounds like an incredibly overwhelming situation, and it's completely understandable to want to explore all possible options before making such a major decision. Many patients in similar situations benefit from seeking multiple expert opinions to fully understand their treatment choices and alternatives. Consider asking your medical team about clinical trials, newer targeted therapies, or immunotherapy options that might be available for your specific type and stage of cancer. Connect with others in this community who may have faced similar decisions - their experiences and insights could provide valuable perspective as you navigate this challenging time.

I refuse to let them remove my bladder and went with the chemo and radiation. Now I’m on immune therapy with the cancer and remission and I still have my bladder. All they ever wanna do is cut on a person. It is not always necessary. I’m glad with my decision, wishing you the best in your journey.
