Is it normal to have blood clots in urine during BCG treatment?

I am going through BCG treatment right now. Will have my 6th session next Tuesday. I am experiencing a lot of blood clots coming out with blood in urine, specially in the morning. I am wondering if anyone had the same side effects. My doctor said to check the color of clots and if they are dark it's OK but to contact him if they turn bright red.

I also have my 6 BCG next Tuesday. The 5th l had some bleeding and some clots. Almost moved into the bathroom. So much urgency. I’m considering Botox to calm my bladder
