a month agoHi All, I was diagnosed with Muscle Invasive high grade urothelial ( ureter) cancer last Oct 2024. Urologist initially recommended for surgery at distal end of my ureter . I went for a second opinion with oncologist and after PET scan done , the case was totally different . Now that reveals bone metastatic at L1,L5, S1 and declared the stage as IV and surgery is not an option . I was immediately put on targeted therapy and immuno ( Padcev + Keytruda) and after 6th cycle I have severe peripheral neuropathy complaints . Withdrew PADCEV and continuing Keytruda until this month . My latest CT, MRI of bone scan revealed small lytic lesions at thoracic that causing me severe pain . I took radio therapy for 5 days . With frequent hospitalizations for pain management I was little tired this month . My oncologist now planning to perform the PET on 8th Oct and planning to put me on Chemo! I still doing some research on latest approvals by FDA for and waiting to know the status of HER 2 test results .
