Has anyone dealt with inoperable brain cancer with multiple melanoma lesions?

My husband was diagnosed 2/20 with brain cancer it is inoperable. He has over 30 cancerous melanoma lesions. He has been told he has only 3 to 6 months. Has anyone dealt with a cancer like this?

Are there treatment alternatives to lifelong pills for pediatric grade 2 astrocytoma?

My 14y old daughter has grade 2 astrocytoma idh-mutant. (Dx at 13y) The average age of this dx is 40. She doesn't want to take a pill (vorasidenib) the rest is her life & I don't feel it's a good fit for multiple reasons. Is TMZ & PCV chemo really the only other options? ... She isn't eligible at St. Jude's CH. I love the local hospital we're going to. It's renowned for its pediatrics, however, I don't have faith in her oncologist. If I request a different one, won't they just say the same things?

How do others cope with grade 4 GBM during chemo and radiation?

Hi there! I was diagnosed on 1-20-26 with a mass in my brain. I had surgery on 1-26-26 and had most of the tumor removed. I’m in my 2nd week of chemotherapy and radiation. I have grade 4 GBM and doing standard treatment. I don’t have the exact information about my current type of cancer once I do I will update this post. I am just wanting to post so that I am staying connected to people that are going through it too. I have good times and not so good times with this complicated and difficult life change. I want to express that I have felt so much love by God, family, medical professionals and friends through this. I am so grateful for the support and love. I just want to say without Gods grace I don’t know how I would have ever made it this far. Any information is appreciated thank you for your support and prayers. I will continue to pray for all. How do you find hope when your wife is fighting glioblastoma?

My wife who is 44 was diagnosed with a glioblastoma in October. She had a shunt inserted in her skull with a port to her abdomen and a Biopsy done to remove what they could. She now has been on the chemo pill and radiation for a little over 3 weeks. She was recently placed in the hospital for blood clots in her lungs…..I’m not even sure what I’m thinking here. I see people on here that are still fighting 2 and 3 years later and it gives me hope for my wife. Hope is all I got left…..thank you to everyone that shares….it hurts and it helps if you know what I mean.

How do you cope after stage 4 glioblastoma treatment and retirement?

I was diagnosed with stage 4 Gleoblastoma Jan of 2024. Had tumors removed and went through chemotherapy and radiation and now MRIs every 3 months. I was in Stuttgart Germany for work and have Sence retired to Santa Rosa.

What treatments have worked for others after standard GBM therapy?

I was diagnosed with Glioblastoma on 11/14/25 I had the 4.5cm tumor removed 10 days later and am now in my second week of radiation/chemotherapy. I’m feeling good so far, but wondering what others have done after the 6 weeks of standard of care. Any trials or special diets that have worked well for grade 4 GBM? This is all new territory for me and would like to hear from survivors what has worked. Thank you🙏

I have Lymphoma. Guess I’m the first in my family to have Cancer.
