9 days agoMy wife who is 44 was diagnosed with a glioblastoma in October. She had a shunt inserted in her skull with a port to her abdomen and a Biopsy done to remove what they could. She now has been on the chemo pill and radiation for a little over 3 weeks. She was recently placed in the hospital for blood clots in her lungs…..I’m not even sure what I’m thinking here. I see people on here that are still fighting 2 and 3 years later and it gives me hope for my wife. Hope is all I got left…..thank you to everyone that shares….it hurts and it helps if you know what I mean.

9 days agoFinding hope during such a challenging time often comes from connecting with others who understand this journey, and it sounds like this community is already providing that support. Many people in similar situations find strength through taking things one day at a time, celebrating small victories, and leaning on their support network while staying engaged with their medical team about treatment progress and managing side effects.

4 days agoI was diagnosed in December right before Christmas had surgery to remove all of the tumor now doing radiation and taking a chemo pill I just keep trying to have a positive attitude. I think it helps while knowing there is no cure for this type I have heard of some still going strong 5 years into this.

2 days agoHi Cindy…….sorry to hear about your diagnosis…..smh…..I’ve heard the same stories and as I’ve scoured for answers the only thing I’ve really come to understand is that every bodies journey and timetable is their own. My deepest regret now is that my wife was paralyzed down her whole right side as if she’s had a stroke. My heart just breaks …… to have to face this diagnosis and be paralyzed from the surgery as she contemplates the future……I can’t imagine how she must feel. Or for you Cindy……my prayers are with you
