a month agoHi, i’m new here. I’m still waiting to be seen by a neurologist. MRI showed high grade glioma. I lost some weight already. I’m taking steroids while waiting for an appt. I really don’t know what to expect. Just hoping and praying for the best.

a month agoWaiting for answers after receiving difficult news can feel overwhelming, and it's completely natural to feel uncertain about what lies ahead. While every situation is unique and the neurologist will provide the most accurate information about your specific case, many people in this community have walked similar paths and found valuable support in connecting with others who understand. The steroids you're taking are commonly used to help manage symptoms while waiting for further evaluation, and having that appointment scheduled is an important step forward in getting the care and information you need.

25 days agoI was diagnosed with Glioblastoma on March 19th. Walked from radiology directly to Emergency Room. Emergency Surgery on March 20th. I’ve done a round (6 weeks) of radiation. I’ve just started my third round of adjuvant chemo. Maybe my story can help you through yours.

10 days agoPretty much same here. Diagnosed and emergency surgery two days later. Started chemo and radiation within a week. All with the VA. Transferring to Duke next month. There are only a couple of cures out there and I don't know if any are currently in trials. The rest are just extensions.
