I’m three years post treatment. Scans have been “stable” but the feelings what if kicks up are still lingering. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Fear of recurrence is incredibly common among cancer survivors, and these feelings often persist well beyond treatment completion. Many people in this community share similar experiences of anxiety around scans and the "what if" thoughts, even when results remain stable. These concerns are a normal part of the survivorship journey, and connecting with others who understand can provide valuable support and coping strategies.

I am over 4 years post treatment and still getting MRI exams every 3 months. I feel lucky to be still feeling ok. It was a glioblastoma of right parietal. I credit good surgery and post op treatment. Don't let it take over your life. Stay strong!

Hi Mr. Moyer I’m curious to know what doctor performed surgery on you. Thanks in advance
