5 months agoIn July 2022 doctors cut out a large cancerous tumor from the middle of my left lung. It was Small cell Ling Cancer. Then for two years I had chemotherapy. After that I had immunotherapy which I continue to have today. I started to go into remission from the SCLC. BUT THEN I found out I had developed Brain Cancer. Lucky me. On October 31 last year they cut two golf ball size cancerous tumors off the back of my brain. I continue to have immunotherapy with two small cancerous tumors on my brain, which for the time being, may still exist. I’m scheduled for a Brain MRI for August 5 to see the status. Also have a Chest and pelvic CT scheduled for August 12 to check on the lung cancer. Pray for me please.

Thank you for sharing such a challenging journey with both lung and brain cancer treatments. Facing multiple cancer diagnoses while maintaining hope through ongoing immunotherapy shows incredible strength. Many in this community understand the anxiety that comes with waiting for scan results, and you'll be in thoughts as your August appointments approach. Connecting with others who've walked similar paths can provide comfort during these uncertain times.
