Hello Michelle! I just had my lumpectomy on June 16. So I am a little short of 2 weeks ago. My right breast feels heavy and is looking bigger than my left. But I also had lymph nodes removed. So I have a lot of swelling. I have some fluid build up as well (seroma). I am just hoping the hardness goes away. My breast are totally different sizes at this moment. Praying the swelling goes away and they look more symmetrical once I am all healed. I am getting nervous.

Hello, I had my lymphectomy back in November, and yes, the swelling makes it big, but once it starts healing, the swelling goes down. You will see a lot of changes as you go through the healing process. I am just now wearing my regular bras. I suggest continuing to wear your surgical bra until you have completed all treatments to include if you have to have radiation and/or chemotherapy.
