2 hours agoRound 2- Cancer takes the lead. RIGHT BREAST: Finding 1: Irregular enhancing mass in the lateral central right breast measuring 4.4 x 1.9 x 3.0 cm (AP by transverse by craniocaudal, series 407 image 28 and series 412 image 57). Discontinuous non-mass enhancement extends superiorly and posteriorly for example on series 407, image 39 measuring 3 cm in extent (series 412, image 59). Non-mass enhancement also extends posteriorly and inferiorly from the dominant mass (series 407, image 21). Total extent of mass and non-mass enhancement measures approximately 6.5 cm in AP dimension and 4.4 cm craniocaudal dimension as measured on MIP images. The dominant mass has a mammographic correlate. Anterior aspect of the mass is less than 1 cm from the nipple and less than 6 mm from the overlying skin. The most posterior aspect of the non-mass enhancement is 9 mm from the pectoralis major muscle (series 407, image 41). Finding 2: Prominent intramammary lymph node measures 8 mm in short axis (series 407, image 27). This previously measured 7 mm in short axis in 2024 but is suspicious given close proximity to highly suspicious finding. EXTRAMAMMARY SOFT TISSUE AND OSSEOUS STRUCTURES: No abnormal axillary or internal mammary lymph nodes are identified within the field-of-view. ASSESSMENT: BI-RADS 4: Suspicious; BI-RADS 4C: High Suspicion for Malignancy MANAGEMENT: Biopsy is recommended. Surgical consultation is recommended.
