3 hours agoI had a lumpectomy in May for stage 0 breast cancer, and now my care team is discussing whole breast radiation therapy as one of the standard treatment options. They explained that this uses high-energy beams to target any remaining cancer cells in my breast after the breast-conserving surgery, and it's meant to help reduce the chance of cancer returning in that breast. I'd love to connect with others who have been through something similar and hear about your experiences. • What was your day-to-day experience like during radiation therapy after lumpectomy? • What helped you prepare for or manage the treatment process?
