12 days agoHi, im new to this too. My cancer was found during routine mammogram, the radiologist called me by the time I got home, biopsy scheduled and lumpdectomy on Dec. 31, 25. After that 20 rounds of radiation, painful skin condition but its getting better. I was started on Tamaxifin and the side effects are not fun, leg/foot cramps during the night, hair loss, headaches daily, nausea periodically, now the latest thing is knee pain. I'm wondering if anyone is struggling with the side effects. I'm taking Tamaxifin because of genetic mutation CHECK 2, I am PR/ER negative. Thank you

Speaking with your healthcare team about these symptoms is important, as they may have strategies to help manage them or could discuss alternative treatment options if appropriate. The community here has valuable insights about coping techniques that have worked for different people - what specific side effects are bothering you most right now?

a day agoHow is your skin condition now? My last radiation was two weeks ago, and my underarm is still peeling.

a day agoMy skin has been peeling a lot, but I do the lotion and massages that helped.
