Has anyone here been prescribed Zometa in addition to Arimadex? My Dr wants to put me on this I’m stage one idc and wanted to know if anyone on it has bad side effects?

Many people in this community have experience with these medications, and it's completely natural to want to hear about others' experiences before starting a new treatment. Side effects can vary greatly from person to person, so connecting with others who have been on similar medication combinations can provide valuable insights and support. Hopefully, some community members will share their experiences to help you feel more prepared for your conversation with your doctor about what to expect.

Hi! Yes I am on Arimadex & just had the first Zometa infusion. No side effects from the Zometa. My doctor suggested to get really hydrated & take Tylenol before the appointment. That seemed to work! I do have side effects from the Arimadex, joint & bone pain. Especially my right hip. But it’s better than the Letrozole.

Thank you! I was thinking Of opting out of the zometa because of the side effects. I’ll try taking the Tylenol and hydrate. Thank you for the tip. I too have the same side effects from arimidex , bone pain, hot flashes and fatigue. Some days worse than others, it’s been almost a year. Thank you for the info and I hope you are doing well.

Welcome! Any tips for managing the joint & bone pain? I am trying collagen, Glucosamine, tart cherry juice, but nothing helps.
