What you're experiencing is completely normal and shared by many others facing a similar diagnosis. The range of emotions and questions that come up during this time are part of the natural process of adjusting to new information about your health. This community is here to provide support and connection with others who understand what you're going through, so reaching out was a positive step.

Have you already started the chemo? I asked because seems like weakness and tiredness would be side effects of that. I have to confess I have not had experience with chemo just radiation. Radiation was not a big deal at all. Before the radiation I had a lumpectomy. Is surgery in the future for you as well?

Chemo can be tough, but you are tougher. Please message your oncology team as meds might need adjusted. Yes, weak and tired can be common, but your blood counts might be low. They can help with this. It could be depression and that is common, treatable, and makes things much harder to manage. You realize how strong you are even though you feel weak and tired? Dealing with this September?! Surgery?! Now chemo?! Your resilience is amazing and you are a survivor. A good oncology team has seen it all. Lean on them. Lean on us. Lean on your friends and family. If you smoke, they can help you with that or you're gonna need to move to a vape/nic free vape. It makes healing SO much slower and worse. Side hugs, hand hugs. Stay resilient.

Yes, your concerns are valid as you are 16 weeks postop. I do not know what the demi center is. I am in Tennessee. Is this an oncology center? Please contact your breast surgeon's office or medical oncologists office on Monday. If you are having life threatening issues such as difficulty breathing, please contact your emergency department.
