Hi, I got the pathology report. Not sure which IDC or DCIS, stage 1 2cm. I have post op on Sept 24th. The nurse will explain the reports. She will set me up with medical and radiation oncologist. Not sure I'll do the radiation. Certain things I can't handle like men being in the room, exposing my breast. So we'll see what happens. Medical oncologist depending on what medicine they will give me and the side effect. I just pray will go well.

It's completely understandable to have concerns about radiation treatment, especially regarding comfort and privacy during the process. Many patients share similar worries about exposure and having male staff present, and most radiation teams are very experienced in accommodating these preferences and making patients feel as comfortable as possible. The upcoming appointments with your medical and radiation oncologists will be valuable opportunities to discuss all your concerns, ask about staffing options, and learn about the specific benefits and side effects of recommended treatments for your particular situation. Remember that you have the right to advocate for your comfort and ask questions about every aspect of your care plan.
