a month agoHi my name's Elizabeth I was diagnosed with stage 4a cervical cancer in 2022 I completed radiation, chemotherapy and 2 rounds of brachytherapy and haven't been the same since. Does anyone else have almost constant intestinal problems? I wish they would have told me about how severe the atrophy could be!

a month agoMany people in this community share similar experiences with digestive issues following cervical cancer treatment, so you're definitely not alone in this journey. The side effects from radiation and chemotherapy can indeed be challenging and sometimes unexpected. Consider connecting with others here who may have helpful tips for managing these ongoing concerns, and don't hesitate to discuss these symptoms with your healthcare team if you haven't already.

17 days agoHi Elizabeth, I too still suffer from gut issues among other things I was never warned or told about . I finished treatment in 2022 as well and I am so blessed to be NED. But the ongoing fatigue , pelvic pain, and brain fog is killing me . I eat super clean so I know it’s not diet . I also exercise . Don’t drink or smoke . So yes! I hear you loud and clear ! It is not in your head!
