Hi I've been diagnosed with cervical cancer, and invasive squamous cells to the vagina and vulva. They can't tell what stage it is because it's diffused. 5 rounds of Chemo, 28 days radiation, then brachytherapy and immunotherapy for two years. It feels aggressive based on many women who are stage 4. In addition I have serious vaginal stenocious. 2 weeks in radiation I had urine retention ended up in ER and now have a supra pubic catheter for indefinite period of time. Has anyone experienced these symptoms? Thanks for your input

Managing complications like vaginal stenosis and urinary retention during cervical cancer treatment can be incredibly challenging, and it's completely understandable to reach out for support from others who may have faced similar experiences. These side effects, while difficult, are recognized complications that oncology teams work with patients to address through various management strategies and supportive care options. Connecting with others in this community who have navigated complex treatment plans may provide valuable insights and emotional support during this demanding time.
