24 days agoHello I was reading my ct scan and iy says my tumor is neurotic what does that mean?

24 days agoIt sounds like there might be a typo in the report - "necrotic" is likely what was meant, which refers to tissue that has died due to lack of blood supply. This can sometimes happen within tumors and is important information for your medical team to evaluate. Consider reaching out to your doctor or care team to clarify the exact wording and discuss what this finding means for your specific situation and treatment plan.

20 days agoNeurotic usually applies to a mental condition... Necrotic as said earlier means there's no blood supply in the tumor is dead. "neuroendocrinec" refers to a type of tumor that is malignant but it's a different diagnosis. I hope this helps.
