a month agoHusband has 9 radiation treatments left. Is it common to have pain in the area being radiated. He will be done on the 18th of this month. What do they do after the last radiation treatment.

a month agoPain during radiation therapy is quite common as the treatment affects healthy tissue along with cancer cells, and it's encouraging to hear that treatment is almost complete. After the final session, the care team typically schedules follow-up appointments to monitor healing and recovery, though the specific plan varies for each patient, so discussing expectations with the medical team would provide the clearest picture of next steps.
