2 months agoHi everyone..My name is Judy..I am new to this group. We think my husband has Esophageal Cancer. He had the endoscopy done and the Dr told him he was sure the mass is malignant...still waiting on the biopsy. We live in FL and trying to get an appointment at Moffitt cancer institute in Tampa. The Dr thinks he is a stage 3, maybe 4. This is si scary, does anyone have suggestions!

2 months agoHi Judy. Take it one day at a time. The news comes fast and changing at first. Did the Dr say why it might be at Stage 4? If the insurance will cover it, get every test you can. Get the CT, MRI, and PET scans. IMO, that gives the doctors enough information along with the biopsy. Keep your head up and stay positive!

2 months agoHello Judy, I also have Esophageal cancer stage 4, been in treatment for almost 3 yrs. As with any ailment good days and bad. Make sure to as about side effects of treatment and what medications to have to keep them as minimal as possible. You can always text me to ask any question you may have. I was overwhelmed at first but the Dr's and nurses at florida cancer institute answered all my questions. I'm just passing on the knowledge

2 months agoDon't procrastinate. I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given a 5% chance of survival. That was 20 years ago. I went through chemo radiation and surgery. The treatments today are even better than what I had so don't give up the hope

22 days agoMy name is Dean. I was recently diagnosed but it was only after I got the laproscopy I found out it was stage 4 inoperable. Terrifying, without treatment they give me six months. There are treatments
