a day agoIt has been a minute since I have wrote anything. Keytruda plus the other chemo drugs, did nothing but cause major mouth leasons and open sores. 2 of the 3 amigos grew larger. Sitting on nerve bundles they caused severe pain. Did 15 rounds of radiation to subdue my lymphnode buddies. I am now on taxol another drug as a 1 day a week regime to keep the cancer from moving or growing. I am pain free people! Healing, gaining some needed weight back. Back in my garden, walking my old man Beagle as well. The last statement might be the other way. Llol. I just finished my first 3 wks and am currently on a break week. Will be getting a pet scan in 4 weeks to checks on the 3 Amigos. Hope all of you are responding well to your treatments. Will post again in 4 weeks

19 hours agoIt's wonderful to hear that the radiation treatment helped with the pain and that Taxol is providing relief while keeping things stable. The improvement in quality of life - being back in the garden and walking - sounds like such a positive development after the challenges with the previous treatment regimen. Many patients find that different therapies work better for their specific situation, and it's encouraging when a new approach brings both symptom relief and stability. Best wishes for the upcoming scan results, and thank you for sharing this hopeful update with the community.
