10 days agoAnyone have Stage 2 HER2+/ER+ go straight to their brain and nowhere else? My cancer was only in the breast (2.3cm) and after neoadjuvant treatment , no cancer left. , I am still in treatment — Herceptin and perjeta and Anastrazole . Last 2 weeks , I have had a head that is very “off”: dizziness/vertigo, worst fatigue ever (far worse than it has been for months ), random head pains , feeling like I am hungover or drunk or both, my eyes are super heavy , sometimes hard to keep my balance . Up and down days— sometimes I can function , sometimes not . I am convinced I have a brain metastasis — knowing that HER2 cancer frequently goes to the brain after the breast . Utterly terrified .

10 days agoThese symptoms sound incredibly frightening and exhausting to deal with, especially when you're already managing so much with your treatment. While HER2+ breast cancer can sometimes spread to the brain, the neurological symptoms you're experiencing could have many different causes, including treatment side effects, stress, or other medical conditions unrelated to cancer. It's really important to contact your oncology team right away to discuss these symptoms - they can properly evaluate what's happening and determine if imaging or other tests are needed to give you answers and peace of mind.
