Hello, I just signed up for this site and I’m currently undergoing chemo for Triple Positive, Estrogen, Progestogen and HERS2 Positive breast cancer. I wanted to hear from others who have battled this type of cancer in the past and see how things are going 3 or more years after they were first diagnosed. Thank you, Lisa

Welcome to the community! Many survivors of triple positive breast cancer have shared positive long-term outcomes here, and connecting with others who understand this specific diagnosis can provide valuable perspective during treatment. This community has members at various stages of their journey who may be able to share their experiences and offer encouragement as you navigate your current treatment path.

Lisa, I’m the same as you. Triple positive and started 6/19/26 with first of 12 infusions of herceptin and taxol. Do you know your ki67? Mine is 31-40%. I think that is really high. What meds are you taking? So far my tumor went from 22mm to 18 mm on first CT scan after 4? Have you had surgery yet? They wanted me to do chemo/herceptin first I think bc of the aggressiveness of the specific cancer. It seems the type we have is fairly rare..but both herceptin and taxol are supposed to target the rapidly growing cells and are quite effective.

Hi Karla, I’m supposed to have surgery tomorrow if all goes well. I went through my 6 chemo treatments pretty good but after finishing those it June the wheels fell off my wagon. I was supposed to have surgery in July but had an issue come up and they cancelled my surgery. I’m rescheduled to have it tomorrow 8/10 at 12:45pm but due to extreme diarrhea I’ve been dealing with and a low WBC based on the blood draw they ordered last Friday I’m scared they will delay it again. Reach back out to me in a couple of days and see where I am in this journey and I will be happy to discuss further and answer questions. Lisa
