What helps with severe constipation during Enhertu treatment?

a day agoI am on enhertu and nothing helps with constipation. I tried laxatives, senna, prebiotics and probiotics, prunes, cherry juice, senna…so much senna, protease, eastern medicine herbs for constipation. Any ideas on how to help?! I feel like my onc team is out of ideas and popping once a week is not helping :/ Anything help with enhertu constipation for anyone?

21 hours agoSevere constipation can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you've already tried so many different approaches. It might be worth asking your oncology team about prescription medications specifically for treatment-related constipation, or requesting a referral to a gastroenterologist who has experience with cancer patients. Sometimes a specialist can offer additional strategies that haven't been explored yet, and advocating for more comprehensive support is completely reasonable when this issue is significantly impacting your quality of life.
