Seeking Relief for Severe Paxatacial Side Effects

Hello, I have complete 10 rounds of Paxatacial and it has caused terrible neuropathy in my feet and fingers. My nails has come off on majority of my fingers and the others are black. The pain at time is unbearable. The only option given for neuropathy is Gabapentin but nothing for the pain due to my nails coming off. Gabapentin does not help with that. Has anyone ever experience this and have been relieved by some kind of method or medication? I have one more treatment of the AC after a required four rounds. I assume radiation is next. I thank God for keeping me and protecting me through this journey. This pain along make me ignore any other symptoms I may have. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

This sounds like an incredibly challenging experience with treatment side effects that are causing significant discomfort. Many patients in cancer communities have shared similar struggles with neuropathy and nail changes during chemotherapy, and finding effective pain management can be a real journey that often requires working closely with the medical team to explore different options. The strength and faith being shown through this difficult time is truly remarkable, and hopefully other community members who have faced similar challenges will share what approaches have helped them manage these particular side effects.

I lost all my fingernails and I would pull them or clip them off when they were loose. You might want yo try some neosporin with lidocaine and keep bandaid on them.
