9 days agoI had very light urine leakage before starting letrozol. It has worsened a good bit. I also have increased urgency. Has anyone else had this and do you have any helpful advice?

9 days agoLetrozole can indeed cause urinary side effects including incontinence and urgency, as it affects estrogen levels which play a role in bladder function. Many patients in this community have shared similar experiences, and discussing strategies like pelvic floor exercises, bladder training techniques, and timing fluid intake with others who understand can be really valuable - hopefully some community members will share what has worked for them.

8 days agoI have urgency as well, but I’m also 69 years old and I was told age has everything to do with that I’ve been on last Letrozole for two years. One thing that’s happened though more recently is that they’re finding microscopic blood in my urine and I don’t know if it’s from the thinning of the vagina or the thinning of urethra due to the letrozole, have you ever heard of that? I will be having a CAT scan soon

8 days agoI’m 60, so I guess age is part of it. I haven’t heard of the blood in urine. Each time I’ve had that it’s been a kidney stone.

8 days agoYeah, same for my sister. She’s had the same problem. I tested positive on three separate urine test for plus one. I’m not worried but they’re gonna do a CAT scan anyway I think it’s just a small kidney stone or something. I don’t have any symptoms.
