a month agoWill be starting enhertu next week. Basically have been told this is the only drug left for me. Was on gemzar and cancer spread to more bone sites. Looking how the drug has worked for others. Thx.

a month agoStarting a new treatment can bring both hope and uncertainty, especially when facing advanced cancer. Many community members have shared their experiences with Enhertu, and responses can vary from person to person - some have found meaningful benefits even in later-line treatment settings. The community here is a wonderful resource for learning from others' real-world experiences, so hopefully others will share their journeys with this medication to help provide the insights you're looking for.

a month agoI completely agree - hearing from others who've been on Enhertu can be so helpful, and you might also want to ask about any tips they have for managing side effects if they experienced any.

24 days agoI have been on Enhertu since March 2023. I have the regular side effects of constipation, diahrrea snd hair loss ( it has grown back) I also have neuropathy in the tip of my tongue and there doesn’t seem to be a medication that will relieve it. The oncologist has let me skip a few treatments bc I wasn’t feeling good; he said it builds up in your body.😬 Good luck with your treatment, I pray it works for you!🙏🏻 I was diagnosed 7 years ago this month and still going strong💪🏻

17 days agoI’ve been on Enhertu since June of 2025. My hair has thinned but that seems to have stopped now. My only real side effect has been a bit of constipation caused by the 2 days of steroids following each infusion. I am also pretreated with an anti-nausea med and Benadryl and they keep me symptom-free during infusions. All scans have been stable and my bloodwork is very good so I’m taking that as a win so far. Hopefully you will get great results from it!

16 days agoHi my name is Mary and I too am on that infusion every 3 weeks. It’s an immune therapy to kill the tumor cells which my case it’s doing. Short story I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer 13 yrs. ago. Got through that and went 8 yrs in remission. I insisted in those 8 yrs to blood work done to check the tumor markers and pet- scan every few months. Sure enough at the end of the 8 yrs. I did a pet/scan and my spine lite up. I had a tumor on my spine T7. So I had back pain to the point where I couldn’t move. My back, leg and side. Now since I’ve been on this infusion for #6 I have no pain and I’m not popping pain pills. Now I just have a backache when I’m on my feet too long. Not the twisted knife kinda pain. I don’t know how much longer I’ll be on it. Also my tumor markers were flying all over the place in fact they went up over 2500. Now they’re down to 250-500. What a leap downward. So that’s my story I hope it helps. The side affects are too bad l lost some my hair and of course the nausea and being constantly tired. But u’ll be ok. Keep in touch and let me know if I can help u anymore. Good luck. Mary❤️
