2 years agoI was on Ibrance and Aromasin for 4 years but started to have progression in July. I was tested for the ESR mutation and started on Orserdu in September 2023. Ater 5 weeks, my liver enzymes had increased greatly, and they have continued to increase every week. I’ve been off of it now for three weeks. I’m concerned about being off this long, so the plan is to go on a lower dose next week. Has anyone else experienced this side effect and how was it handled?
Accepted Answer
Liver enzyme elevation is a known potential side effect that some patients experience with Orserdu, and working closely with your medical team to find the right dose is exactly the right approach. Many patients find that dose adjustments can help manage side effects while still getting treatment benefits, so there's hope that the lower dose will work better for you. Others in this community may have similar experiences to share, and connecting with fellow patients who understand these treatment challenges can provide valuable support and insights.
