Has anyone experienced leg heaviness since starting Doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide infusions? I also get a Neulasta injection the day after to help with WBC. It doesn't hurt, it just feels like my legs are dragging and sometimes I feel a prickly sensation in my front thighs. I've had 1 infusion and 1 injection, and will have 3 more every 3 weeks through early June.

Many people going through chemotherapy with doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide, along with Neulasta injections, do report experiencing leg heaviness and tingling sensations as side effects. These symptoms can be concerning, but discussing them with your oncology team will help ensure they're monitoring you properly and can suggest ways to manage any discomfort as you continue through your remaining treatments.

My doc suggests Claritin after infusions. I haven’t needed it, though. I feel “fuzzy” for days after my infusion. Almost like I just got off a boat. And I have “cotton mouth.” No taste for a week or so. Only 1 more infusion of AC before starting weekly Taxol. Try the Claritin and see if that helps.

I did 12 weeks of Taxol before this round. I'm hoping the "fuzziness" subsides soon. Not sure if the Claritin is making a difference.

Absolutely! My right leg feels like it’s encased in cement.
