Has anyone experienced occasional cold chills and nausea episodes while taking Letrozole? I mentioned it to Oncologist and she didn’t seem overly concerned but…….

Many people taking Letrozole do report experiencing various side effects, and it's encouraging that you've already discussed these symptoms with your oncologist. Side effects can vary widely from person to person, and what you're experiencing may be related to your treatment. Consider keeping a symptom diary to track when these episodes occur, which might help identify patterns or triggers to discuss at your next appointment. Others in this community may have similar experiences to share that could provide helpful insights.

I take Letrozole and had severe nausea and vomiting but I think it was from another drug, which I discontinued.

Yes I have been on Letrozole for 3 1/2 years. Nausea and cold -chills in the mornings to afternoon and hot flashes while I try to sleep at night. I use ginger/lemon lozenges for nausea in morning works really well I was surprised. I was using a prescription medication for nausea but my daughter in-law was using the ginger/Lemon for her first trimester of morning sickness.

Thank you Sandra, I thought I might be loosing my mind. You read about the hot flashes but not cold chills and nausea. I will definitely try the ginger/lemon lozenges, wonder if the tea would work as well?
