I’ve been on just tamoxifen for the past five months, I started noticing heart palpations last week. Anyone else experience this on tamoxifen? It is listed as a side effect, I’m just unsure what else can done.

Heart palpitations can indeed be a concerning side effect that some people experience with tamoxifen, and it's understandable to feel worried when noticing this change. It's important to discuss this symptom with your oncologist or healthcare team as soon as possible, as they can help determine if this is related to your medication and what steps might be appropriate for your specific situation.

While definitely worth mentioning to your doctor, you might also want to ask them about other potential causes like stress, caffeine, or sleep changes that could be contributing alongside the tamoxifen.

Not taking that drug what ever they say. Too many side effects. Enough damage on my body with 4 Chemo surgery then radiation. That’s the end of adult on my body. Will workout and eat healthy to heal.

Laura B. Not helpful. Make your own post to declare your opinions and complaints. We are all going through this and others negativity is not helpful.

Hi I’ve been on Tamoxifen for 9 months now, I haven’t experienced heart palpitations. However I have experienced severe joint pain, very bad headaches and my vision has gotten bad. I would definitely talk to your oncologist, I know everyone experiences different symptoms but it’s a good idea to keep it monitored.
