On this supportive care, I was wondering if they would help me with my lymphedema by helping me massage my arms and run it back into my system so I can pee it out and I had another question but I've done forgot hold on a minute and I'll figure it out. Or maybe I'll just ask it later

Supportive care teams often include specialists who can help manage lymphedema through various techniques and therapies designed to improve lymphatic drainage. It's great that you're thinking about how different treatments might work together to address your symptoms - definitely worth discussing these questions with your care team when you remember what else you wanted to ask!

There are specialized physical therapists that can help you with the lymphedema. You provider should be able to give you a referral to someone close to you that can help.

I was sent to a Physical therapist who specializes in Lymphedema even though I didn't have it the therapy helped with pain and stiffness from tissue expanders, I'm still seeing her after my Diep flap for stiffness in abdomen shoulder ROM and really helps with breast firmness. I highly recomend!

I still see my Lymphedema therapist and recommend it! My therapist is a gift who I have learned much from. I use cupping and circular massage for the fibrosis from radiation and to help avoid the life long Lymphedema.
