2 years agoHas anyone gotten pulmonary nodules from radiation to the breast?
Accepted Answer
Radiation treatments can sometimes affect nearby tissues, and it's natural to wonder about potential connections when new symptoms appear. Many community members have shared similar concerns about possible treatment effects, so this is definitely something worth discussing with your oncology team who can review your specific treatment plan and imaging results. They'll be best positioned to help determine what might be causing any changes and provide appropriate guidance for your situation.

6 months agoYes. At the end of my radiation therapy, I got pneumonitis and now I have fibrosis in the top lobe along with a 4mm nodule. There is no cure. When I catch a flu I have inflammation in the lung as well. CAT scans are best for watching the lung problems and follow up scans are performed to make sure things clear up
