Completing radiation is a significant milestone, and the side effects you're experiencing show just how much your body has been through during this challenging treatment phase. Many patients find that skin healing and energy levels gradually improve in the weeks following radiation, and it's completely understandable to feel both relief and hope as you transition to the next phase of your treatment journey.

Prayers for quick healing. I’m afraid I too will need radiation.

My doctor recommended I make green tea and then use that tea to spray on the area multiple times a day. I bought a small glass bottle and sprayer that are used for essential oils. The green tea is very soothing. I also used Mometasone,a steroid cream that was prescribed for the area of radiation and had no problems whatsoever so ever. My skin stayed great just got a big square tan. I do have to say that the radiation effects get a bit worse a few weeks after you stop. So make sure you use any creams they suggested or prescribed and add the green tea! Also unscented calendula cream is great. California baby has a good product. I wish you the best and it will get better.
