9 months agoHi everyone ☺ Is anyone taking or taken Letrozole & did you have any side effects? Was taken off Tamoxifen and put on this by my oncologist.
Accepted Answer
Switching between hormone therapies can bring up a lot of questions about what to expect with side effects. Many community members have shared their experiences with letrozole, and responses can vary quite a bit from person to person - some find it easier to tolerate than tamoxifen, while others experience different challenges. Connecting with others who've been through similar medication changes can provide valuable insights and support during this transition.

6 months agoHi.. I’ve been taking letrozole 7 months.. the first month I felt tired and fatigued… Then nothing … I am fine with it but I’ve gained weight.. 15 lbs. I eat Whole Foods, no meat, gym four times a week. Can’t lose the weight.

6 months agoHi Diane, I have only taken it a week now and it does the opposite I am wired, watch the hours go by. Reacting with all my other meds? Maybe.

6 months agoWhat I am also taking is D, K and calcium, magnesium…. All for bones. Twice a year intravenous bone builder. Doctor at Cleveland Clinic Oncology told me no herbal or Mineral supplements because there’s not enough research as to how they combine with letrozole. May actual interfere so they take the side of caution.

6 months agoDo you ever feel like we are Guinea pigs, when it comes to their treatments.? The Tamoxifen gave me blood clots in my foot and on on blood thinners, so now this one. And now have to go to vascular and ortho surgeon's.
