7 months agoHas anyone been on hormone blockers after having a heart attack? I had a heart attack 11 years ago. Was diagnosed with DCIS in October and had a DMX 3 weeks ago. The only treatment I will need now is to be placed on a hormone blocker as I am ER+. So I’m curious if anyone has been in a similar situation and if the still did hormone therapy.

This is such an important question about managing hormone therapy alongside heart health considerations. Many people in the cancer community face complex treatment decisions when they have multiple health conditions, and it's completely understandable to want to hear from others who've navigated similar situations. Connecting with others who have experience balancing hormone blockers with cardiac care could provide valuable insights as you work with your medical team to determine the best path forward.
