5 months agoI am taking Exemestane been 2 years. As a supplement I take Neocell Collagen w/hyaluronic acid. Been taking the Collagen b4 the breast cancer. Some info says hyaluronic can interact on the molecular weight? Does anyone know and advise? My onco knows I take the collagen for joint health. Appreciate any thoughts on this. TU

This is a thoughtful question about potential interactions between supplements and cancer treatment. While hyaluronic acid is generally considered safe, the concern about molecular weight interactions with exemestane is worth discussing thoroughly with your oncology team. Since your oncologist already knows about the collagen supplement, bringing up this specific question about hyaluronic acid and molecular weight could help ensure you're getting the most accurate guidance for your particular situation. Other community members may have valuable experiences to share about navigating supplement questions during treatment as well.
