a year agoHello! Has anyone received ovarian suppression treatment along with taking tamoxifen? My oncologist said it'll be a shot every 3 months for 5 years, while taking the tamoxifen daily for the same 5 years. I wanted to see what side effects have been experienced with this combination of treatment. Thank you.

This combination therapy is used for certain types of hormone-positive breast cancer, and many community members have shared their experiences with both the quarterly injections and daily medication together. Side effects can vary quite a bit from person to person, so connecting with others who've been through this treatment can provide valuable insights about what to expect and how to manage any challenges that come up.

6 months agoI was prescribed this. (Lupron). I chose to have my ovaries removed. I’m doing better without my ovaries, than on the Lupron.

6 months agoHi Tamberly, thank you for your feedback. How long were you on the Lupron and what side effects did you experience before you decided to remove your ovaries?
