Waiting for next steps after a new diagnosis can feel overwhelming, and it's completely understandable to have questions about what the imaging shows and what comes next. The medical oncologist will be able to explain the full picture of the test results and create a treatment plan tailored to the specific diagnosis. Many patients in this community have found it helpful to write down questions beforehand to make the most of that important appointment.

6 months agoCT would most likely show cancer in lymph. It would show what lymph nodes or area in the body are hyperbolic or have a large glucose uptake…. Which cancer does. CT is used to stage cancer. So if they believe you don’t have any lymph involvement, only the final pathology report will have the final say.
