a year agoHi all, Just had 2nd radiation treatment for bc and my tongue is tingling. Is this normal? Literally started when l was walking to my car from the treatment. Thanks. Janet the Unicorn

It's understandable to feel concerned when experiencing new symptoms during treatment. Tongue tingling can sometimes occur as a side effect of radiation, though experiences vary greatly between patients. This is definitely something worth discussing with your radiation oncology team, as they can best evaluate your specific situation and provide guidance. Many others in this community have navigated similar concerns during their treatment journey, so hopefully others will share their experiences here too.

6 months agoYes it can happen if they come close to your jaw just make sure it doesn't swell up ,if so 911 you are having an allergic reaction i really didn't have much problems with the radiation I had 32 sessions I had chaffing in the arm put area and some burns but not bad hang in there it goes by faster than you think. I'll keep you in my prayers, Adrienne
