Good News from My Right Breast Mammogram

I had my mammogram and ultrasound for my right breast yesterday, this is the breast that my oncologist recommended for me to keep since there was no sign of breast cancer. My breast cancer is/was on my left breast and I had a unilateral mastectomy October 24, 2024. Well, yesterday tests indicated that my right breast is healthy and the recommendation was another check up in a year. I was impressed to have the doctor look at the test results and giving me the results and interpretation after testing! It is a relief not to wait a week for results. I am very lucky with my doctors at Memorial Cancer Institute.
