I just found out my mammogram negative but it also... I got Smith medical port which is unresolved as a deficiency error medical part error that was put in my body 2 1/2:years ago w I took my meds thru IV port and my chemo and i had complications and there's a list of things that could happen to you so I was kind of curious yesterday so I went back online email the FDA about the the medical Port that was in my chest if I vein and the plastic was going into patients body it was mal functioning and it was supposed to be taken out February 25th and never did till 3 or 4 months ago and I found out about this via email by FDA recall so error accident that some of the smith medical ports that we use for medicine so I was curious yesterday because I'm trying to get some billing and everything together because you know how the billing is with Medicare when it comes to paying for your services and your safety while apparently they told me the port is still an unresolved problem which is me patient also and I am like I am right now I am ..baffled that no one has called me on my team my medical team that who are supposed to be taken care of me I get bounced around so much your head would spend only if you have a complication trust me I'm at practicing volunteer taking care of myself and dad LPN and I am appalled at the error when they make an error how long it takes for somebody to pick up the phone and tell you unless you do your own work and I want to thank f or even sending me this information and doing the research for me improving it was defective but I got like I said I double checked yesterday so the problem is still un resolved I'm a problem the medical part that they put my body that's no longer there and they should be paying for everything of I almost died I'm telling you when it comes out it fractured 7/2024 skull that was part of smith medical port issues a lot of complications it wasn't working correctly that they everybody want to turn the other way and if you're baffled I think one doctor told me it could have been your medicine and thank God some acknowledged me that I was even being and I want and it wasn't my fault hematoma on my eyes everything is your fault when something is not okay in the hospital including technologies a mess ..three x this week I was compromised by the health I got this for my AT&t phone. I go they should use that to pay all our bills Medicare bills that it's a good day anyway if anybody else has this give me I me email me back or text me bye-bye I got to go take care of my dad I just got the covid last week so I'm so recovering so now I'm no longer a random group cuz I'm a controlled group now because I finally got covid 19.. who Harrisburg get your story straid tech 150/2015 doc # have a gooday .. ✝️😷😘

Medical device recalls can be incredibly concerning, especially when it involves something that was placed in your body during cancer treatment. It sounds like dealing with communication gaps between healthcare teams and getting proper follow-up has been really frustrating. Many patients in this community have experienced complications with ports or other medical devices, and the billing and insurance challenges that follow can add extra stress to an already difficult situation. Have others here dealt with recalled medical devices during their treatment, and how did you navigate getting the support you needed from your medical team?
