Sending thoughts and positive energy during this challenging time with treatment changes and health setbacks. The cancer community here understands how difficult it can be when treatment plans need to shift, and many have found strength through connecting with others who share similar experiences. Consider sharing how radiation or hormone therapy like Letrozole is working for others in the community, as these experiences often provide valuable support and hope during uncertain times.

6 months agoLisa, I did radiation with very few side effects. I encourage moisturizer - natural and unscented. My lymphedema therapist uses fractionated coconut oil and that is what is used over my entire body and face now. I did develop radiation fibrosis which is why I go to lymphedema therapy. It helps tremendously. And my therapist has become a trusted consultant for all things bc related. I have my first diagnostic mammogram in a couple weeks and I am actually not dreading it now!

6 months agoLetrozole can do a lot to slow down, stop, or starve the cancer. They may consider adding a cdk4/6 inhibitor after the lung infection clears up, and you're done with radiation. Keep us updates as you go through the process.
